I'm very sorry.

I loved the line, "The flavor of heartbreak is sweet i my mouth." And that rang a bell.

Lovely.

So very sorry for this sensory experience you are sorting out, Linda. It takes so much to write it out and weave it together and find the throughlines this way. Wishing you peace.

Thanks, Amy. Writing about it has helped a lot. Sending peace your way, too.

You are definitely a poet, Linda! And heartbreak is peculiarly sweet. May this part of your dance on that dance floor guide you towards a new kind of sweetness.

This slayed me. Thank you for being beautifully and articulately vulnerable.

I'm not sure slaying was what I had in mind. But I think that's good here?

I love this Linda. I love the way you've woven in the idea of synesthesia. Just beautiful.

I feel this will all my senses, not because my heart is currently breaking for similar reasons, but because it has before and probably will again, and because you most def are a poet. Hugs, beautiful friend, and thanks for getting it into words to share.

Thank you, my friend. This one was even more difficult to write than last week’s. It’s so much easier avoiding feeling these feelings. I think getting it into words is helping me be with them. xo
